Delicious Dill Sauce
Need an “everything” sauce? This is the one for you!
While this dill sauce was originally paired with poached salmon, we have found that it works with just about anything. It has become our veggie dip, sauce for gyros, fish, and grilled chicken, dressing for orzo salad, you name it. It can be made with fresh or dried dill, fresh or bottled lemon juice, with or without feta.
What You Need
- Sour cream and mayo (in equal-ish parts, although I often use more sour cream and less mayo)
- Finely diced onion
- Horseradish
- Lemon juice and zest (if you only have bottled lemon juice, the zest can be skipped without being missed too much)
- Dill (fresh is best, but when my herb garden is sparse, like it is now, dried does just fine)
- Salt and garlic powder
- Feta (optional, but delicious!)
