salad with poppy seed dressing and fork on the side

Poppy Seed Dressing

This vinaigrette is quick and easy to whip up and will become your new go-to salad dressing! It’s a must-have for any fridge.

While this is labeled as one of my Granny’s recipes initially, it makes me think of my mom. My parents have salad every day and usually have a jar of this poppy seed dressing in the fridge. Whenever they come to visit, my mom brings me a freshly-made jar to have on hand in my own fridge. The good news is, it is incredibly easy to whip up on your own!

Let’s Make It!

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend well. Stir or gently pulse in the poppy seeds so they do not end up in pieces. Easy as that!

This dressing stores well in a glass jar in the fridge for several weeks. It might separate a bit, but a quick shake or stir will re-combine the ingredients.

Can I make it sweeter?

Yes! Use up to double the amount of sugar, to taste.
