candied nuts in skillet with blue spatula

Quick Candied Nuts

Up your toppings game and elevate any salad with just three ingredients and 5 minutes.

A good salad is hard to beat. It makes a fairly quick and easy side to almost any meal, and can utilize a wide variety of ingredients. This quick candied nut recipe is one of my favorites for when I have company.

Let’s Make It!

Simply add the butter, brown sugar, and nuts to a skillet and cook over medium heat for a few minutes. The butter and sugar will melt together, creating a candied coating for the nuts.

It is a quick recipe and does not involve baking, so not all of the sugar mixture will stick to the nuts. I like to spread it into a thin layer in the pan after turning off the heat and allow it to cool completely. This can help with having a bit more cohesiveness.
